Fixed drug eruptions are not usually a widespread maculopapular/morbilliform rash as depicted in the images. They are very commonly a single lesion. The images look more like diffuse in nature.

The images currently included describe more of a morbilliform drug eruption (also called maculopapular drug eruption, exanthematous drug eruption, and maculopapular exanthem). However, the timing of 30 minutes to 8 hours is not in alignment with this more generalized rash (usually 5-12 days). Not sure what tags have been added incorrectly. For instance, NBME 25's question is definitely more of a generalized drug eruption rather than a fixed drug eruption.
