B-thalassemia major presents with both of these features, nucleated RBC due to increased erythropoietic demand, target cell due to blebbing of the cell membrane from damages to its structural integrity. Target cell can be found under the section about b-thalassemia major on first aid. Having only one feature can be confusing for the student because it is associated with multiple defining features.
