Rationale for change

Humans cant feel temperature, only heat transfer.
-source (go sit on a wood bench then on a metal bench on a winter day. Which one was colder? the metal one felt colder because it conducts heat better but both benches are same temperature. If you could feel temp then those would feel the same.
