Leukocoria

The left eye shows the normal retinal reflection, whereas the right pupil appears white (leukocoria or white pupil). This phenomenon occurs if light (e.g. during an ophthalmologic examination or flash photography) is not reflected by the retina but by intraocular lesions such as tumors.
Leukocoria is a typical early symptom of retinoblastoma.
