- Pectoriloquy (normally, patient speaks and you should hear muted sounds through stethoscope, anything besides that = pectoriloquy)
Bronchial breath sounds - sounds like air flowing through a tube, high pitched sounding, longer expiratory phase than normal
Egophony - "eeeee" sounds like "aaaay"
Bronchophony - voice sounds are louder and clearer
Whispered pectoriloquy - whispered "blue balloons" should generate muffled sounds (abnormal if clear)- Pectoriloquy (normally, patient speaks and you should hear muted sounds through stethoscope, anything besides that = pectoriloquy)
