Rationale for change

Neonatal hypoglycemia defined as plasma glucose level <40 mg/dL in first 24 hours of life for symptomatic infants. Although there is a lack of consensus between AAP and Peds Endocrine Society, neither place the threshold as low as <30 mg/dL.
