If the original note was based on this UWorld explainer, then it's a misquote of the source. The statement from UWorld says that the most common cause of **unilateral** discharge w/o a mass or lymphadenopathy is intraductal papilloma; not the most common cause period. To wit, UWorld's linked citation states that 50% of women in reproductive years have physiologic discharge, which would all but make it mathematically impossible for another cause to be the most common in this pop.
