Rationale for change
this card is based on outdated information. FA23 pg. 693 does not mention "electromechanical dissociation" anywhere and instead talks about obstructive shock as the reason for death. The picture used in this card for FA is outdated since FA has taken that description out in the latest edition. AMBOSS also supports FA with no mention of "electromechanical dissociation" anywhere related to PE. https://next.amboss.com/us/article/oh00Uf?q=pulmonary+embolism#Zfb01fcdeb51ff26f23e3b2e25e04e156
