Rationale for change
CDC guidelines were updated over the past couple years, doxy is now preferred over azithro given evidence of superior efficacy
Rejection reason
i don't like making decisions based off of CDC guidance alone - since that has never correlated strongly with practice questions. also this source seems to indicate that the treatment regimen would be more complicated depending on route of transmission and sex of the individual... resubmit if you see a uworld or amboss change to this effect please.
