The DSM-V diagnostic criteria for panic disorder are:
A: recurrent unexpected panic attack during which {{c1::≥4::#}} of the following symptoms occur
- STUDENTS FEAR the 3Cs
B: at least {{c1::1}} of the attacks has been followed by at least {{c1::1 month::time}} of at least {{c1::1}} of the following:
- persistent concern or worry about additional panic attacks or their consequences
- a significant maladaptive change in behavior-related to the attacks
C: not due to substances
D: not better explained by alternative diagnosis
