- Hypovolemia → most common reversible cause → give IV/IO fluids
- Narrow-complex PEA may indicate a mechanical cause (e.g., tamponade, PE, tension pneumothorax)
- vs. asystole: PEA has organized ECG activity; asystole has flat line / no electrical activity
