Rationale for change
The way this card was previously written, it sounds as if you have a patient who is positive for HBsAg. This would indicate they have an acute Hepatitis B infection. At that point, post-exposure prophylaxis is not indicated as it does not alter the disease course. This change is also congruent with the flow chart, which shows that no Hepatitis B prophylaxis is indicated for someone who has + Anti-HBc or +/- HBsAg.
