Maybe needs verification because my head is spinning rn, but the 'Extra' image is either super confusing or incorrect. Innervations in the figure suggest that application of cold water into right acoustic meatus stimulates right CN VIII, which stimulates right CN VI.
Taken at face value this contradicts the "Additional Resources" figure, which shows that right CN VIII activates the contralateral CN VI.
If the image is kept, should be clarification that cold water caloric testing inhibits ipsilateral CN VIII,
