- Heel-of-1-hand technique: Place the heel of 1 hand just below the nipple line, on the lower half of the sternum
- Two thumb-encircling hands technique: Place both thumbs side by side in the center of the infant's chest, on the lower half of the sternum

- This card used to say that two-finger method could be used for chest compressions in infants but the recent AHA guidelines clarify that the two-finger method is no longer recommended, as recent medical consensus highlights that the two-thumb encircling technique can often provide more effective and consistent compression depth (June 2026)
