Rationale for change

Membranous labyrinths contain endolymph and are surrounded by perilymph. The scala vestibuli/tympani are part of the BONY labyrinth.

The other components of the membranous labyrinth in the inner ear are the vestibular componets (semicircular canals and the sacucle/utricle)
