Rationale for change

Inpatient vs outpatient treatment should be specified since choice of antibiotic differ between the two. IDSA guidelines state (recommendation 9.1) that ceftriaxone + a macrolide is indicated for empiric therapy for CAP without risk of MRSA or Pseudomonas. Amoxicillin + macrolide is the preferred outpatient regimen.
