Rationale for change
Chorioamnionitis warrants induction, and this card prefaces the case with prolonged rupture of membranes which does not imply the patient is in labor, so the patient would either need to be induced or augmented for delivery. Expectant management with antibiotics is not appropriate for chorio.
per AMBOSS
"Delivery is required to resolve the infection; begin augmentation of labor if protracted. "
