Rationale for change

The phrase “presents as” must be followed by a single category or parallel items. Constant and localized pain → a type of pain; fever/leukocytosis → systemic signs. So the OG reads as "pain presents as pain and fever" which is grammatically and logically incorrect. Mixing symptoms + labs/signs under same verb.
