Rationale for change

The current card states that lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma (LPL) is defined by >10% monoclonal plasma cells in the bone marrow, which is inaccurate and conflates LPL with plasma cell neoplasms (e.g., multiple myeloma).

LPL is a low-grade B-cell lymphoma, characterized by infiltration of the bone marrow with clonal lymphoplasmacytic B cells (small B lymphocytes with plasmacytoid differentiation), not true plasma cells.

Therefore, the card should state monoclonal B cells, not plasma cells, to reflect the correct disease classification and avoid diagnostic confusion with multiple myeloma.
