Rationale for change
There are 3 open suggestions on exactly this topic. They reference AMBOSS, UWorld, and FA25, none of which provide support for the distal duodenum as the site of attachment in the Kasai procedure. Meanwhile, UTD, Wiley Medical Library, and various other sources online (NIH, Clevland Clinic) support the fact that it is the jejunum (via a Roux-en-Y limb) which serves as the attachment to the liver. Moreover, the image in Extra shows what looks like a jejunal Roux-en-Y.
