Rationale for change

Changing to 1-2 days reflects the clinical sequence more accurately. 3-7 days describes a broader prodrome-to-rash interval that varies by patient and may suggest a later maculopapular rash onset than is typical.

FA 2025 states "then eventually Koplik spots, followed 1–2 days later by a maculopapular rash"

Amboss is worded wierd which makes it confusing in the Clinical Features under Exanthem Stage it does state "Duration: develops 3–7 days after the prodromal stage"

HOWEVER, if you look right above Exanthem Stage at the end of Prodromal Stage under Koplik Spots it states "Manifest 1–2 days before the exanthem stage" which aligns with what FA 2025 says. The first thing under presentation in the Exanthem Stage is maculopapular rash so 1-2 days after Koplik spots (the end of the prodromal stage) a maculopapular rash would begin developing.
