Rationale for change

** card says that episomes are a type of transposon which is incorrect.

Episomes

- An episome is a segment of genetic material that can exist separately from the chromosome OR integrate into chromosome.
- F factor, HPV

Different from transposons because:

- Once integrated, it stays embedded or excises to return to plasmid state.
- Does not hop around randomly the way transposons do.

Transposons are capable of inserting and removing themselves from genome repeatedly.

Rejection reason

Thank you for the suggestion. :-)

We do ask, and require, that an MCAT-specific source citation be included with any and all content-related suggestions, in order to streamline the process of suggestions and deck maintenance. More information and specifics can be found here, if it's helpful: https://community.ankihub.net/t/anking-mcat-deck-submission-guidelines/384726

Please let me know if you have any questions. :-)
