Rationale for change
Per Amboss, in children with only mild mucocutaneous bleeding or no symptoms, conservative management is preferred. However, in children with significant non-life-threatening mucosal bleeding or symptoms affected QoL, first-line medical therapies can be consiered (e.g. steroids)
