- In Pierre-Robin syndrome, think of a small tiny man called Pierre with micrognathia. Additionally things in the mouth aren't formed well so you end up with a cleft palate and tongue abnormalities.
- Note that this condition has many similarities with Treacher-Collins syndrome, however the key difference is that Treacher-Collins syndrome is autosomal dominant so there is usually a family history of similar problems
