Rationale for change
Replaced Mg in the examples because Mg is diamagnetic, not paramagnetic. Mg does not have unpaired electrons and fits the definition of diamagnetic.
In real life, from what I can find online, there is some specific way in which it might be slightly paramagnetic, but through a separate concept called Paul paramagnetism that is outside the scope of the MCAT.
Na has one unpaired electron, so it is a better candidate to be a paramagnetic material. Also Na is referred to as being paramagnetic in the Khan Academy video linked in the extra section.
