Rationale for change

My initial suggestion was to reword the card because the original definition used the word 'enhance,' which gives away the cloze answer for 'Enhancers.'


However, simply changing it to 'upregulate transcription' created a definition that was too general and could also apply to promoters.


This final suggested edit addresses both issues: it removes the giveaway word and adds the key distinguishing feature of enhancers—their ability to function from a distant location—making the card more specific and accurate.
