Card previously stated "difficulty flexing elbow". While this is technically correct "weakened elbow flexion" conveys the same message and is more in line with how this finding would present in question stems and in clinical practice as the patient would present with reduced power in elbow flexion on physical exam OR they would present with a report of unilateral weakness in some menial task involving elbow flexion such as lifting boxes etc.
The AMBOSS article on musculocutaneous nerve injury even states "impaired elbow flexion".
I believe by changing this component of this note it will improve the accuracy of this card and will also improve appropriate recall of this topic when doing questions/exams as well as in clinical scenarios such as ward rounds.

- The musculocutaneous nerve innervates muscles of forearm flexion and supination, and sensation over the lateral forearm
- This note previously said "radial and dorsal forearm" but was changed to "lateral forearm" per AMBOSS for brevity, they are interchangeable (Dec 2024)
