Rationale for change
The heat of fusion only refers to one specific phase change, the change from solid -> liquid.
The heat of transformation and the latent heat have the same meaning, and refer generally to the heat energy required for any phase change.
In the Khan Academy video starting at around 12 minutes, the guy talks about the heat of fusion for what it specifically is.
Also, there is another note that correctly defines fusion in this way (note id: 1554178575763)
