Rationale for change
In NSTEMI, the occlusion is incomplete (see AMBOSS source below). Also, I added that despite MI often occurring due to plaque rupture, it can also occur due to prolonged supply-demand mismatch (in other words, plaque rupture is not a requirement for MI to occur) (see FA2025 p.308 Myocardial Infarction section)
