Rationale for change
The "recommended management" for afib with CHA2DS2VASc score of 0, though it does not require an anticoagulant, is NOT observation. Afib still needs to be treated with rate/rhythm control and would warrant an antiplatelet (Aspirin). This card should specifically state that the patient does not need anticoagulation therapy, but should not suggest the blanket statement that a patient with AFib would ONLY need observation and not need rate/rhythm control or antiplatelet therapy.
