Examples of vaginal/cervical disorders causing bleeding: vaginal laceration, cervical friability, malignancy, etc
Cervical ectropion: columnar epithelium exposed to the vaginal milieu by eversion of the endocervix. This is common and normal. The exposed epithelium is prone to light bleeding when touched. No biopsy or intervention is indicated.
