The noncoding (antisense/template) strand is the DNA strand that is read by RNA Polymerase II to create mRNA. Therefore, the sequence of the noncoding strand in the 5' to 3' direction is complementary to the mRNA transcript read in the 3' to 5' direction (swapping U for T).
The coding (sense) strand is the DNA strand that complements the noncoding DNA strand and therefore has the same sequence and directionality as the newly synthesized mRNA (have to switch T with U, though).
