Rationale for change
It's specifically unopposed estrogen - estrogen exposure with progesterone (e.g. during pregnancy, or normal ovulatory cycles) does not increase the risk for endometrial carcinoma.
Should be updated as several questions test this concept - included in FA 2025 and AMBOSS.
