Rationale for change

It would be much more likely for a small peak at around 2900 to be a C-H peak rather than an O-H peak. specifically, an sp3 hybridized C-H bond. If it was a small peak at about 3000, it would likely be an sp2 hybridized C-H, and if it was above 3000, it is likely it would be an sp hybridized C-H. The graph likely has a typo, nobody would identify that peak as an OH.
