Rationale for change
There's no such thing as the "posterior tibial nerve" (in the same way that there is no "anterior" tibial nerve)-- it's just "tibial nerve" by international anatomical terminology (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31804758/). However, you don't really purcuss a nerve-- you percuss the area above it. UWorld Step 2 qid:19927 describes a physician illiciting a positive Tinel test by percussing the "posterior medial malleolar area". This is more accurate. Moreover, giving the user the word "tibial nerve" is a dead giveaway for tarsal tunnel syndrome.
