Debranching enzyme can only break the a-1,6 glycosidic bond of the branches, the card and the additional exta text (which mentions that it will do this until it become just one chain) makes is seem that its the debranching enzyme that is breaking all of the glysosidic bonds in a branch, when its phosphorylase that does that until it reaches 4 monosaccharides in the chain, followed by transfer of a trisaccharide to the main chain, and the final breaking of the last monossacharide left in the branch by α-1,6 glycosidic bonds.
Separate suggestion in play that covers this same material, so for organization's sake going to take this suggestion down just to focus on the other current suggestion. :-)
