Rationale for change
Better wording? I feel like this is the more typical format ("patient with 'X symptoms' after 'Y event'") Moreover, this change emphasizes the fact that the symptoms FOLLOW the TBI (as opposed to presenting with these symptoms simultaneously to, or even leading up to, the TBI)

- Occurs in approximately 10%–20% of patients with severe TBI
- Rapid-onset episodes of tachycardia, hypertension, and tachypnea often accompanied by fever and diaphoresis; can last 20–30 minutes, usually triggered by external stimuli (e.g., bathing, repositioning) but may occur spontaneously
- Clinical diagnosis & diagnosis of exclusion; no confirmatory tests
- Treat with supportive care (e.g., avoiding triggers, treating fever) and medication (e.g., opioids, GABA-agonists, α2-agonists) to abort and/or prevent episodes
