The answer to this QID is weighted very heavily on the fact that the pt has a mass + skin retraction, (despite the fact the pt is premenopausal, just stopped breastfeeding and only 42yo)
- Just as many people incorrectly (According to UW) answered "intraductal papilloma" as answered correctly "Invasive ductal carcinoma"
This statement also contradicts the following point in the extra that there should not be a mass. If we want to keep it I think we should better emphasize that if present it would only show up under the nipple (which I couldn't verify anywhere) in fact AMBOSS says "multiple papillomas can present as a peripherally located palpable breast mass"... So there's that.
