Rationale for change

This will also help differentiate the card from nid:1484686725827, which is about DMDD but, aside from the cloze, reads very similarly to this card.

Two UW questions use this characteristic as justification for correct/incorrect answers:

UW Step 2 - 2358: describes IED as "typically [resulting] in feelings of remorse." The fact that this characteristic was not present in the vignette is used to justify the fact that IED was not the correct answer. In justifying the correct answer (antisocial personality disorder), UW states that, "in contrast, the aggressive behaviors in ASPD are designed to intimidate or gain advantage over others, with no evidence of remorse."

UW Step 2 - 15122: The vignette from this question describes a patient with IED, including in the vignette that the patient is "remorseful about his behavior," and the answer is "Intermittent explosive disorder". In the explanation, it's stated that "lack of remorse" is one of the factors that should cue you into the fact that IED is the correct answer.

AMBOSS includes in their definition of IED: "causing the individual significant distress, and impairing psychosocial functioning," and states that "feelings of remorse, regret, and embarrassment following an outburst are typical."

For these reasons I think it would be good to include something about this in the stem.

The current wording of this card is so vague, that DMDD could also be use to answer the cloze.
