Rationale for change
Rh- individuals only have anti-D antibodies if they've been exposed/sensitized to Rh antigen. It's not that 100% of Rh- individuals have anti-D Ab.
Hence, that's why we check Rh- pregnant women for evidence of alloimmunization (Rh(D) antibodies) during the pregnancy.

Thus make sure to not give the plasma of Rh- blood to Rh+ patients
*Anti-D are IgG (they cross the placenta)
This card used to imply that all Rh- individuals had Anti-D IgG; this may be true to an extent but, for boards purposes, this is only true in those that have been sensitized by prior exposure to Rh+ blood (e.g., an untreated Rh- mother following delivery of an Rh+ baby) (Jan 2025)
