Rationale for change
GOLD criteria is used now for COPD as of 2021; escalation of therapy is a bit different from the old picture. Someone with moderate to severe COPD would use LAMA and/or LABA, SABA, and corticosteroids (more emphasis on LABA being used sooner and more than LAMA :) )
