Original card is completely incorrect. Naloxone doesn't work instantly, by not immediately correcting the hypoventilation you're risking them going into arrest. You absolutely need to BVM first, then you can titrate naloxone. Naloxone also often requires multiple doses, I've had patients take 10-15 minutes post-naloxone and bagging to be able to be safe to be put on just an NRB.
