Rationale for change

Contraindications to ECV are only contraindication to vaginal birth. Although not every patient will be a candidate for a trial of labor after low transverse c section, its not a contraindication, rather a point of discussion and counseling. In contrast a classical is a contraindication to vaginal delivery and therefore is a contraindication to ECV. (External Cephalic Version: ACOG Practice Bulletin, Number 221. (2020).
