- This card used to say azithromycin or doxycycline, but AMBOSS confirms it is ceftriaxone + doxycycline (Jun 2023)
- *outpatient treatment
- If signs of vaginitis or recent gynecological instrumentation, add metronidazole
- Inpatient treatment involves the following combinations:
- Cefoxitin/cefotetan + doxycycline
- Clindamycin + gentamicin
- Most commonly caused by Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae
- Duplicate card! If you have already unsuspended this card which is now marked for deletion, please use nid:1543695331412 as replacement. If you have not unsuspended this card, you can simply delete :)
