Rationale for change
Only analabolic-androgenic steroid abuse will cause hirsutism in females. Glucocorticoid excess (e.g. long-term prednisone) is NOT going to cause features of androgen excess. If a patient was abuding anabolic-androgenic steroids, we'd actually expect them to have increased muscle strength/mass, as Amboss explains.
