Hint for the Cloze says [2] but should be really be [1] because "Broad and waxy" casts is a two-word description that refers to one type of cast (i.e. the casts look broad and waxy), not two different types of casts (broad casts and waxy casts).

Suggested grammar change and removal of the hint avoids potential confusion.
