I am surprised it was not mentioned that the iliohypogastric n can be injured during a C-section. This is clearly stated in the ID 1739 explanation.
"The iliohypogastric nerve is vulnerable to injury where it pierces the anterior abdominal musculature. Damage (eg, during cesarean delivery) can result in decreased sensation, burning pain, and paresthesia of the suprapubic skin." This is an important association!
