Extra
- Ghon complex = Ghon focus (granuloma in middle/lower lobe) paired with swelling of the associated hilar lymph node

- When a Ghon complex heals and calcifies, it is referred to as a Ranke complex - calcifications allow it to be identified radiologically

- Ghon complex is seen in untreated primary pulmonary tuberculosis infection while the Ranke complex is a result of the healing of a primary tuberculosis
