Perhaps better suited to be like this, so its more obvious its testing 3 items. We should figure out a way to standardise management cards, especially with regard to whether the card is testing for admission and symptomatic management or just the definitive management only

- The patient should have an abdominal X-ray on admission
- Start VTE prophylaxis since venous thromboembolism is increased in patients with severe IBD
- Avoid antidiarrhoeal drugs (include loperamide) and anticholinergic drugs and minimise opioid use → precipitates toxic megacolon
