Rationale for change
I would propose that the card in its current form kinda gives away the answer because there are only two general cardiomyopathy categories, restrictive or dilated, so if there are two blanks, you don't have to remember anything except those two names which is not what this card is challenging you to remember. What the card is really getting at is that hemochromatosis can cause either general cardiomyopathy patterns, so that is the part that needs to be behind the cloze, rather than just making you recall that restrictive and dilated cardiomyopathy are the two major options.
